Has Oprah Earned Your Trust Regarding Diets?? Don’t be fooled…

Before Oprah convinces you to jump back on Weight Watchers (again) let me remind you of a few truths:

  • Oprah is a chronic dieter with up and date weight loss and gains over a period of decades.
  • Oprah owns part of Weight Watchers and makes money when she convinces you to sign up
  • The best predictor of the future is the past, and Oprah has dieted and lost and then regained weight many times.
  • Oprah is a convincing person and may even believe what she is saying, but her history as a chronically food obsessed dieter disqualifies her from giving you sound advice.

Please don’t let the newest celebrity-endorsed diet blow your commitment to building and then strengthening your healthy Thin Mentality.  And remember, your friends, your mother, your sister and your uncle may all think that weight watchers works.  They may have done it themselves and lost weight.  But Weight Watchers doesn’t make you thin.  NO.

Weight Watchers teaches you to become and stay a dieter for the rest of  your life.  Even if you are at your ideal weight, you have not learned how to live as a healthy, Thin Mentality person.

Don’t settle for that- it is still a food obsessed life.  Build your Healthy Thin mentality.  It is so, so, so much more fun, more healthful for your body, heart and soul, and so much more sustainable.
